My journey to homeownership was not exactly smooth, I did not enjoy the experience. However, the financing side of things was the lone easy part of the process, owed entirely to Joni. Going in the finance side was the part the most worried me and I started initially working with a broker but quickly got the feeling my best interest was not their main priority. I was presented with rates that were much higher than I expected to qualify for. I decided to look on my own and quickly came across Valley Mortgage Financial. I was hesitant at first but after my initial conversations with Joni and their rates I decided to move forward. I can say definitively that the rate I got was VMF was the lowest I could find anywhere. I spoke with 5 different lenders outside of the lending options my initial broker offered. Once the process started with Joni he kept me informed and on task very efficiently, checking in periodically and ensuring I got all of my forms and information submitted on time. I was ready to close months before my actual house was complete and financing ended up being the smoothest part of the entire transaction.

Found a low rate for a refinance through bankrate, and based on the good reviews online this company seemed legit. Owner took all of our information, ran our credit, and disappeared. Attempted to follow up multiple times leaving voicemails etc. Finally after a week of dodged calls we heard back, and he said he’d get back to us. Been a month and haven’t heard back. Ended up going with a different lender that was actually responsive.

Our experience with Valley Mortgage Financial was exemplary, by any measure. Joni stayed right on top of the process and assisted us when it became a bit confusing. There was no switching of loan terms or hidden fees. While the mortgage process can be quite arcane and overly complicated, Valley Mortgage made it clear and simple for us. Our loan closed in the prescribed time and without a hitch!

Had a good experience here with Joni working on my mortgage refi. I studied Finance and have worked in the financial industry for most of my career, and I have pretty high expectations of other professionals in the industry that in the past have not always been met. I chose this lender because they had the best combination of rates and costs for my loan, and he was very forthcoming with the data points and made it easy for me to compare as I was shopping. Pleasant to work with, patient, good at explaining the process steps without condescending, and it was very convenient in these days of COVID to sign all the docs online and only do a short session with the notary for the wet signatures.

Where to begin? We can not say enough good things about Joni Kojo & his team at Valley Mortgage Financial. He was quick to respond, always on top of things & kept us in constant communication. Work with this company twice, A refinance and a new loan two years later. Always get me the best rate. I shop around and got multiple quotes but this company alway able to get me .5% lower. Very good service and able to get thing done.
I have done about eight deals with Valley Mortgage Financial. Each deal was done hassle free and the rates can't be beat. The last deal I did in March 2019 was a refi and cash out with Joseph Najjar as the lead. The deal took about two weeks from start to finish to complete. Amazingly quick deal. I would recommend VFMI and Joseph Najjar.

Best service I have ever had! from the time I called for information until the time I closed I had no trouble. everything was done in a timely mannor and the rate I got was better than most places I called. Everytime I called I was rated with priority and all my phone calls were returned promptly the same day.
